Charles Edward Cohen, Founder and Visionary of Armor of Yah
Charles Edward Cohen, a.k.a Chuckido, was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. Since an early age, Chuck has always had a heart for the down trodden.
When Chuck was at one of the lowest points in his life, he began praying and asking God what he could do to make the world a better place in His name. Chuck wanted something tangible to give people. Something that would make a person feel loved and desirable.
God, in his faithfulness, Grace and Mercy answered Chuck. God instilled the idea of making soap. Having never made soap, Chuck began to research and create his own brand of homemade soap. He had a few names for it; Soap of Hope and Armor of Yah.
Soap of Hope because being at a low point in his life, Chuck was lifted out and given hope and wanted to do the same for others. Armor of Yah, because like Armor, soap gives a person a feeling of cleanliness and protection.
The Armor of God can be found in Ephesians 6:10-18
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Chuck believes wholeheartedly in paying it forward and even though he is disabled, Chuck uses his own resources to make the Soap of Hope and can be seen in Minnesota, New Jersey, Texas, or wherever God would have him travel, to sell or even give away what God has placed on his heart.
Our prayer is that you will be blessed when you buy the soap.
Cheers,
Steven Fraser, President
